* The aviary is warm and humid. We suggest you dress light and leave jackets, bags and any extra clothing or items in the car to reduce the risk of a butterfly escape and speed up the inspection process.

* Butterflies love bright colors!

The aviary is home to 40-60 different species of tropical butterflies imported from their native countries.

* The building has ramp access to each exhibit. However, the Banyan tree maze and Mirror Maze are not handicap accessible to go through. We do not have an elevator at this time.

* Our peak hours are between 11am- 2pm, avoid these times to have a more peaceful experience.
